My 5 Healthier Lifestyle Tips

New Year, New Goals!

I know lots of people have healthy goals as their TOP goals in the new year. Wether it be to eat better, workout more, try a new workout, or eat less sweets.

Today as my affiliation with Fiber One, I am sharing my 5 tips on how to live a healthier lifestyle!

5 Tips on How To Live a Healthier Lifestyle!

1. Keep healthy snacks in your house and even in your purse on the go! When you have healthier snacks around then when you are craving something, it is a better option.

These Fiber One Chocolatey Chip Crunchy Cookies are a sweet and healthy snack. Trust me, I love a real chocolate chip cookie any day! But, I believe in moderation and balance, these are a much healthier cookie option.

A protein filled snack that you can even have after a workout to hold you over until a meal, these Fiber One Protein Cookies & Creme bars are awesome! I have had other flavors of Fiber One protein bars, this and the peanut butter ones are my top faves!

2. HYDRATE! Drinking water is SO good for you! I really only drink water and my coffee in the morning daily. Water is so good for you in lots of ways including digestion, your skin,and more! I drink warm water with fresh squeezed lemon, every single morning, too!

3. Did you know “me time” is important for your health? It sure is! Having time to yourself to do something you love, a time to relax solo, or a time to pamper yourself is so important. We all need a break with the busy lives we lead and it is good for us to have “me time” often. I like to do yoga, meditate, or get my nails done for some of my “me time” faves.

4.  We all know dessert can be the death of us. I really could eat froyo every single night. But, I know I wouldn’t feel my best if I did and I like to enjoy sweets in moderation. A healthier dessert is always a win, especially when you are craving sweet but don’t want to eat something not so good.

Fiber One has an amazing line up of 90 calorie brownies, including this new 90 Calorie Mint Fudge Brownie. Ummmmm, it’s amazing! I crumbled one up in some greek yogurt that I mixed with peppermint stevia and cocoa powder. It was an amazing and healthy sweet treat!

These brownies are good solo, too! I actually like to heat them up in the microwave for about 10 seconds to make them warm and even more delicious! And, there are some AWESOME recipes on dessertify.com, using Fiber One products!

5.  Make working out FUN! This is a big one I feel for people, workouts can be dreadful. You don’t want to force yourself to do a workout that you don’t enjoy! You have to just find something that you like to do and look forward to. For me, I love doing yoga, barre, cardio on the elliptical, and free weights.
